Ok guys, I’ve been thinking to hit my keyboard with this blog and haven’t really got a second to that. Here today off all my other activities listening to some boring songs actually invited me to write this long planned blog.

Been waiting for this moment for a month, hmm I think it was worth the wait. Also have been thinking to create a my app story in the next blog.. So keep visiting and yeah check out the batterywizard app. It also made to the top 50 most downloaded app for august 22(1st day). Hmm I’ll keep it short and catch you on my next keyboard strokes to deliver my app story. Cheers oh I forgot to tell Bill(hurricane) spared us.

Orkut profiles hacked

This morning I saw some of my friends profile got hacked naming NEELAM and so on, he fixed it and later I went through a community called Spartans battle Zone and almost everyones profile in the community got hacked. People beware of this, be alert with your profiles, I will do my level best to inform ORKUT and inform or pass this web to all you friends.. I can post screenshots but since it contains nudity I don’t want to do that. I will give you the link to the community. There is a poorly written code which sends your username and password to a database and then redirects you to ORKUT home page. Don’t get fooled.

Safari Books Online

Lately computer has made man go green too. Yes the habit of shredding trees for 1000 pages books are no more as they go online. I’ve started using safari books online now and I found this is the best money I spent on my lifetime. There are tons of books, you name a book and you will find it. These books are mostly technology based and there are the top selling bools available in the market. The cute part is you can browse through the index and go to the topic of your interest and there are many videos and all the codes are easy to copy and test rather than studying codes. I started using it widely and now I’ve around 20 books in my library(web). Most of my time is spent reading these books these days. It makes my work better and quick. I wish I used this technology few years back. Thanks to safari books for bringing such a good technology.

Price and Features:
For 22 USD / month you get access up to 10 books unlimited. Once you added a book in the bookshelf you can’t remove it in that month. Some books are 2 slots but most books are 1 slot and you get 10 slots. To change books you need to wait a month. You can’t view videos on this account.

For 42 USD there is no restrictions on number of books you can max out the books and view any content of the entire web. I’m using this one, I first had the 22 but I felt it was limited and I switched it to this.

Easily the books now I have in my library are equivalent to $500 USD but I get to read it for just $44.

Bill Gates comment on GM and counter comment

At a recent computer expo, Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated, "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon."  In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release stating: If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and you'll love this part):  1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash now and then.  2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.  3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull over to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it and open the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.  4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.  5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and much easier to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads.  6. The oil, water, temperature, and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation!" warning light.  7 . The airbag system would ask "Are you sure?" before deploying.  8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.  9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.  10. You'd have to press the "Start" button to turn the engine off.
